I remember going to the theater in Coca, FL with my mom and seeing the moving LOVE STORY when it first came out. Not sure why mom would take me to a movie like that so young but I can only guess knowing my father, he didnt want to go. I remember crying and when we walked out of the theatre not a dry eye. I have loved that movie and I love the music. I was touched this past week week when I heard that the composer had died. So fast forward some almost 40 years and what do you get...........
Me and Meg sitting on the couch watching LOVE STORY. The kid at BB told me he had never heard of it when I asked for it. I rented it know that I would save it for me and Meg to watch with no boys around. So with Joey sleeping in late and Joe at work Meg and I had coffee and cried. Of course I started crying almost the moment it started and Meg cried when Jenny died.
Kinda weird how in real life Ryan went through his "love story" when Farrah died of Cancer, although the SOB should have married her before her death bed, but that is a whole nother subject.
Now to back up a little. Last night Joe, Me , Meg, JOey and James went to the PASCO COUNTY FAIR. Now keep in mind that James has never been to a fair or carnival. Didnt know what a ferris wheel or an elephant ear was. Anyway we had fun. We all 5 road that huge bucket ferris wheel and we watched meg ride the bull and then we had corndogs, elephant ears and other goodies. Then we can home and watched a movie till 1:30 am....poor Joe had to work this morning.
Now to cook a roast, potatoes , carrots and piddle while the kids do homework.
ALso a big thanks to my kids that worked really really hard on Sat with me in the house moving furniture and changing out some rooms. Hard manual labor and I really appreciate it. LOVE MOM
